Spring Break 2013

Spring Break was a blast!  We somehow got Jill and her family, Lance and his family AND Grandma and Grandpa to join us in St. George.  Kim and Shea were off touring 5 states so were unable to hang with us!  The weather was beautiful and we had a blast!   My Dad and Lance pulled down all of the 4-wheelers and the Rhino.  Our motorcycles were already down in the garage so the men went riding several times!
Mae Mae was less then thrilled that she was not invited!  She climbed onto everything with a motor trying to convince the boys to take her!  Hayden getting ready to go!
Ryker with all of 16 year old attitude!
 Almost ready to go!
Love this photo except you can't really see Andrew.  He is in the driver's seat of the Rhino.  He thought he was 5 going on 17!

After the ride we got in the car to go to Gunlock falls.  Okay, so there were no falls but it was beautiful.  There was not even near enough water to have falls!  As it turns out it is sort of rare that there is enough water for falls.  A nice drive anyway!  Then we are at Dubs Chubs BBQ.  That is not what it is really called but that is what Ryker kept calling it so the real name has slipped my  mind!!
Seriously the best family EVER!  Check out Tay and Grandpa with their walking sticks!

Jeff and Jord on what would be the falls
Hayden and Lance consider this trip to the falls Epic Fail #1 (#2 was the turtle sightings)
Jill's kids are so adventurous!  I wonder where they get it from?  I love Anders legs just trying to keep up!
 Ryker posing..  Goof Ball
Taylor and Jordan on a lizard hunt!
 Skipping rocks!

After the ride we hit the pool for the first of many times!

 Seriously??? Ryker and Lance!

One our second full day there we headed out to "Glitter" Mountain.  This turned out to be SO fun and I recommend it to anyone who is in the area...  The only problem is that it is difficult to find!  But Adam led us right there.  It is an abondoned Mica mine and you can chip rock right from the mountain!  Andrers and Jordan were in HEAVEN!
Tay on top of glitter mountain
Adam, Anders and Jord working hard at collecting rocks
Of course for Grandpa, this is a little piece of heaven.  We had never done this before and so were not sure what to expect.  We brought hammers and buckets but once we got there we wished we had a chisel.  Grandma had just said out loud, "I wish we had a chisel" and he looked down and someone there before us had left their chisel.  We Anders was certain that this was a direct answer to his prayer that we would find a chisel!  I love the faith of children!

 Jord and I digging

Taylor climbing with her boot!  Smart??  I think not!

This was SO fun and I highly recommend it to anyone!  There is no shade so a trip in July or August may be unpleasant!  Seriously so fun!!

On Wednesday most of the men and Grandma and Grandpa had to head home.  But Jill and I are always up for more partying!  On Wednesday morning the boys had one more ride and we headed shopping.  After the troops headed out Jill and I and the kids went to see our good friends Scott and Jenae Huskinson.  They have a house in St George.  Beautiful!  The kids had the best time jumping off this wall into their pool.  Check our Maelee below,  not scared of ANYTHING!  She is TWO!!

Here is Jord sporting her new outfit!  She is really into fashion lately!  I guess I deserve it!!  I love Anders!!  So much energy!

On Wednesday night Jill and I took the kids to our favorite Mexican restaurant and then Jill, Taylor and I stayed up way too late watching My Crazy Obsession!  We watch two hours of people who were obsessed with rats, Raggady Ann and even a Merman.  Yes!  A man who dressed up like a Merman and swam in pools!  And we watched it all!

We had a great time and Jeff and I were so thankful that everyone could join us!  We missed Mitchy, he was on vacation with his Mom!
