Fun in the Sun!

One of our favorite things to do in the summer is to go to the pool with all of my friends and their kids. We usually go about once a week but because of all the rain this is the first time we have been out this summer! There were about 7 families there and Jill and Katie came as well! What a blast!
Tay with little A and some of her friends taking a break.
Jord and Sissy(thats what we call her) they played super together!

Tay and two of her best friends. Taylor and her friend always end up in the same clothes, swim suits, etc! I guess great minds think alike!

We had 3 babies under the age of one with us this time. I love this photo.. so peaceful!

Another one of my favorites.. Little B is the cutest guy EVER! We love to have him say stuff for us because he has this cute little deep voice!

Here is the highlight of our day. Taylor told me back in January that she was going to "conquer all her fears" in 2009! So far this year she has had many firsts: skiing, soccer, rock climbing, a 4 mile hike, tennis lessons, golf lessons and her first concert (Taylor Swift). I am sure they are more but I can't think of any right now. This was another, she went off the high dive! You go girl! Tay has grown up so much this year!

Saturday fun!

There are very few Saturdays when we don't have major events on the calendar. This Saturday, however was one of them. We had Little A over night while Jill was hosting her ward camp out. Taylor is so great with him! He loved going for rides in the Barbie Jeep.

I love living in Wellsville and truly feel like I am surrounded by the BEST people in the world. My girls and I have wonderful friends. I don't allow my girls to have sleep overs so we have late nights instead. We have friends come over around 7 or 8 and stay until 10 or 11. Here are some pics of out late night on Saturday. This is Jord and her friend getting ready to watch a movie.
Tay and her friend dressed up and were singing, then the younger girls would give them a score for their performance. Girls are so silly!

We made "pink popcorn" and watched movies. So fun to have such incredible friends!

Here are all 4 girls watching a movie. The girls stayed until around 10:00 p.m. I am already getting too old to stay up as late as my kids! Not a good sign for when they are teens.

Just a little funny...

So... I am not sure if my girls were just being extraordinarily weird tonight or if I was just appreciating their humor. I was watching Fox News about Michael Jackson dying and the girls were asking about him. So, I told them the story of cousin Jenny's famous dance behind her air mattress with one glove on. I told them about my pink shirt in 3rd grade with his face covering the entire thing (Mom, what were you thinking letting me wear that?). Then they ran upstairs to play. Well, only a few short moments later Jordan came down like this.. business as usual. Just playing away. I made her pose!

Later during the evening while I was on a walk I came home and Taylor was dressed like this! What is in the air in Wellsville???

Softball and Father's Day!

One of the highlights of our Spring has been able to
watch Taesha play softball. This weekend Sky View
had a tournament in Montpeiller. Most people were bummed
but we were excited because that meant relaxation at the ranch.
The girls played 8 games in 3 days and were one game away
from the Championship game. Way to go S.V. Because we were
able to stay at the ranch it was fun to entertain T's teenage friends.
Some of the girls watching a movie! They started it at midnight after they played 2 games!
Crazy teenagers!!! Mitchy hung in for a while!
Between games the girls did some 4-wheeling. I was worried about muddy uniforms but
then figured it was raining so hard who would notice?

I think that Jeff may possibly be the best dad ever! He left Harrisburg, PA at 1:45 a.m. on Friday morning and got in Salt Lake at 10:30. He picked me up in Logan at 12:30 then we picked Mitchy up and headed to Montpeiller. He had about 3 hours of sleep. What a trooper. It was freezing and raining on Saturday... Mitchy and I watched the last two games from the truck! I swore I would never be one of those parents who honked from the car when your kid did something good!! You call this summer???

Mitchy was perfect! Seriously. We just kept the treats coming!!

Father's Day! Mitch wanted to make Jeff breakfast in bed so I headed over early and we made waffles. Mitchy was so cute!!

We had a great day! We hung out with friends and family and ate, ALL DAY! Happy Father's day Jeff. Not only is he a great dad to his kids but he is incredible with mine! I am SO lucky!

Jeff, Mitchy and Taesha! Chase is on his Senior trip in Myrtle Beach!

Later we headed over to Grandpa and Grandma's to celebrate with Grandpa. Here is Jord and Ken giving grandpa his gift. I seriously get emotional when I talk about all of the great men in my life. My dad is the greatest example of a father, Preisthood holder and hard worker! Thank you Dad!!

For Father's Day grandpa got a pressure washer! Anders loved it!! He kept grabbing the handle and going vrooom, vrooom! He is such a boy and you can tell he is spending his free time on a building lot! He is so adorable!

Relaxing Summer??

So, I have decided it is an absolute myth that summer is relaxing! Especially this week. Taylor had a golf clinic, tennis lessons, piano lessons and both girls had swimming lessons. On top of that Jill was out of town at a conference, Kim was at a conference and I had somewhat of a medical "emergency" and was laid up for a few days. All is well, but WOW am I tired! Thank you to Jill, Kim, Tonia, Jamie and most of all Grandma Tamra. I have the best family in the world and that really showed this week.

Taylor at her first tennis lesson. She was so excited and how great to have Regan, Haden and Hunter there with her.
So, I had to add this photo. Jill had ALL of the kids at tennis and I had a break in work and decided to run down to the courts to see how everything was going. When I arrived Sam and Jord were sitting on this bench! After 3 warnings they continued to play in an area they weren't supposed to so this is where they sat... in time out! Way to go Jill!! Those two girls will always keep us on our toes!

Jord, Hunter, Taylor, Sammy and Regan after tennis. Haden ran away too fast to be in the photo!!

Taylor, Ryker and Haden before golf. I am not sure where Hunter was. They had a blast this week!

Tay and Hunter before their first golf lesson. They were so excited!

On top of golf and tennis we were in the middle of our two week swim session. After every lesson all of the kids there do a cheer! It's my favorite part. That is Tay in the pink of the left. Who knows where Jord is?? Probably still in the pool, even though she's not supposed to be!
It was hard to get photos of Tay. She is in the highest level at the Sports Academy and they are basically under water the entire time. Here is a cute pic of Jordan.
Tay and Jord after their final lesson! One more thing checked off the summer t0-do list!

One more thing to add.. Taylor is doing jobs around the house to earn an American Girl Doll. Go Tay! So, tonight for an extra chore I had her pick up the garbage in the back yard. She came in with this giant mushroom that was growing in the lawn. ENOUGH RAIN!! No really, I love the rain and love that I had not had to water the lawn or turn the A/C on!

"Swinging" in the rain!

The latest and greatest project was putting toghether the new swing/play set. Thank you Jeff for the greatest gift ever! Because I have the best boyfriend (very odd to say when you are 34) and family in the world they all came toghether to help with the project!
Lance showed up at my house on Friday with Dattage Towing incident managemen truck! It was filled with all sorts of power tools, spot lights, generators and everything you could dream off. Also, check out his sweet digs!!
Everyone will fully admit that Shea was the brains behind the operation. Here are Lance and Ryan about 10:00 at night waiting for the next instruction!

Shea busy figuring something out! I am not near smart enough to pretend what!!

The guys worked til about 11:00 at night on Friday then started again Saturday morning. The weather, of course was raining!! But they just kept going. By 11:00 on Saturday morning the project was nearly complete. Jeff and Lance putting on some final touches.

Hunter, Jeff, Jord, Tay, Ken, Lance and Shea posing by the finished project. Ryan helped the entire time and had to leave just before this photo to go on a call.

The kids already out having fun! Thank you Jeff, Lance, Shea and Ryan for all your help. I get overwhelmed by what a wonderful family I have been blessed with! Also, special thanks to Hunter. He helped with Jordan the entire night Friday night while we were at Taylor's dance revue! He is such a special kid and I truly feel blessed to have my neices and nephews so close to me that we see them daily!

Jeff had to have this photo taken! First time driving a tow truck!! After we were finished we ended up with one too many vehicles at my house, so he drove it back to the shop!

Dance Marathon!

Just as Taylor's dance revue was a marathon so is this post! Taylor has taking dancing at Tueller's School of Dance for the past 5 years. She really loves it there and I feel like they are wonderful people, examples and instructors. During her dance revue week she had over 10 hours of rehearsal and 2 dance revue's.
Tay taking a quick break during dress rehearsal.
Taylor's ballet dance during dress rehearsal.

Tay and her friend from school who is also in her dance class!

I took this photo at the finale because I was so impressed. The finale brought tears to my eyes to see so many wonderful young girls, with so much future together on the same stage!

This photo is blurry because Jordi would not stop dancing long enough. This is her friend from dance, they had their revue a few weeks ago.

Tay and her friend from the neighborhood. What beautiful girls!

All of Tay's wonderful support. Thank you Grandma, Grandpa, Kim, Reg, Sammy, Jill, Andrew and Jeff who is taking the picture. Jamee, Julie and Ken also came but had to leave early. This was just her support on the first revue night!

Posing with Grandma and Grandpa!

Tay, Jeff and I!

Tay and another friend from the neighborhood. Check out all the flowers! How fun!

T came to see Taylor with me on the second night! T CAN'T have a serious photo, EVER!

One last photo before heading home!

Taylor was so excited and tired when it was all over! Thank you everyone for all your support!
